Upholding the Right to Develop: CYLC submission about proposed vegetation clearing laws

The Queensland Government has proposed amendments to vegetation clearing laws that will severely restrict the clearing of vegetation across Queensland. Cape York Land Council has prepared a submission on the proposed laws which shows how the aspirations of Cape York Aboriginal people to develop their land for agriculture and other uses will not be achieved if the laws are passed.
